Condenser and evaporator are heat exchange containers of automobile air conditioning system. The high-pressure and high-temperature refrigerant gas transfers heat to the outside (releases heat) and condenses (liquefies) into high-pressure liquid in the condenser, which changes the shape of the refrigerant, but the pressure is basically unchanged; The low-pressure liquid exchanges heat (absorbs heat) with the heat in the outside (CAB) in the evaporator to produce boiling (vaporization), so as to continuously reduce the temperature of the space. After boiling (vaporization), low-pressure refrigerant gas is generated, which changes the shape of the refrigerant, but the pressure is basically unchanged.

The most common faults of condenser and evaporator are dirt blockage and leakage. If the dirt is blocked, nitrogen or dry compressed air can be used to blow and flush repeatedly until it is clean and unobstructed.

The surface dirt of condenser and evaporator must be cleaned frequently, and the heat transfer fins shall not be overturned or damaged to ensure their heat transfer performance.

The leakage of the condenser can generally be seen from the appearance, such as scratch, bruise, oil leakage at the leakage point, etc. The leakage of the evaporator is hidden in the evaporation box because of low pressure and condensation on the outer surface, which is generally not easy to be found.

The leakage detection of condenser and evaporator is generally obtained through air tightness test (pressure charging test), and the test pressure is 2.0-2.4mpa; Evaporator 1.2MPa.

Under normal conditions, the surface temperature of the evaporator is very low, but only a large amount of condensation can not frost or freeze.
